Impossible to get a hold of anybody at this location I called Humana and said I’ve been trying to get a hold of my oncologist for nine days with no return phone call and summarily was sent a letter three weeks later from Oncology and hematology Associates of West Broward and they said they no longer want me as a patient due to lack of communication isn’t that what I called to complain about you guys for ??? ​The front office initially scheduled three of my appointments based on my availability, with the remaining three to be arranged by the nursing staff. After completing my third treatment, I left without booking the final three because the front desk was unattended. My appointments were made for me without my input or confirmation. I had called a few days ahead of my appointment to see if I needed a referral and was told I didn't. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told by the front desk that I did need one. When I asked the lady at the front desk if she would inform the person who told me I didn't need one that I did really need one, she refused saying there are 2 separate sections. FIND ANOTHER OFFICE! I have been under the care of Dr. Kalman for 7 years and he is a wonderful doctor, but the office staff is rude, unorganized, unprepared and show ZERO regard for patients. Attendants keep patients on hold for 20-30 minutes and hang up the phone, lie to patients, overcharge patients, do not return phone calls, cancel appointments without notice, schedule appointments and charge patients no-show fees without notice or authorization from the patient, and completely disregard patient’s right. Do not go here if you actually care about your health. I am a current active patient and have been trying to get ahold of my doctor and his staff for an entire week. I have called multiple times with no answer and left messages with no return phone calls. They DO NOT care about their patients nor their health.
