Iron infusion was recommended at my past TWO appointments. NO insurance auth was sent to request the recommended iron infusion for anemia in the fall after my surgery, as confirmed by my discussion with Aetna care manager. Upon my 3 m f/u, of course I'm still deficient and was told I needed an iron infusion. "Give about a week to get auth back and will be called to scheduled." Dr.Ranjay Rakahit is a wonderful oncologist. He has been treating my daughter for breast cancer during the past two years... he is always positive and encourages patients and their families to stay positive as well. We are grateful for him!! Pray
