"Do Not Enter... We Hate You" Just another secondhand shop with pretensions of retail. This place has the added twist of weird and hostile owners & staff and as a bonus, the prices for the used to used-up clothing are ridiculous.
Ms RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL! I wish i could give a -5 star. Very poor level of customer service and professionalism is displayed by the new owners Todd & Piggie Hines. I will never return to this store nor the North Area store and every parent that I come in contact with at my child's school, at work, church, shopping or in general conversation will be told to not patronize their establishments.
Great Deals I always find great deals at this store but had an unfortunate encounter with the employee that rang me up last summer. I bought over one hundred dollars worth of clothes-for the prices here, that equals A LOT!- and the salesgirl was just in an awful mood. She sighed, rolled her eyes, and put her head down on the counter when I came up to pay. She rang me up as if it broke her back to do so. Not happy! I am not happy with the service that I have recieved from the business. I was treated horribly. They didn't give me as much money for my items as I thought they should have. It is very unorganized and overpriced.
Great! The owner of this store is very friendly. Also, the clothes are priced really good. I love the dollar rack at the front of the store! The selection always changes. I also found a good deal on a crib and a Pack and Play. I have noticed that the prices seem to be a little better here than at the West Ashley store for some reason, however the selection isn't as large.
NICE STORE BUT PACKED! THIS IS A VERY VERY SMALL STORE, SO THE CLOTHES ARE JUST PACKED TO THE GILS! BUT, THEY HAVE GREAT PRICES AND THE OWNER IS SUPER NICE TOO. IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SELL, THEY WILL CUT A CHECK ON THE 15TH OF THE MONTH TO EVERYONE THAT SOLD SOMETHING. ITS AN OLDER BUILDING, AND MANY PEOPLE HERE IN TOWN FREQUENT IT.
once upon a child this is a great infant and toddler store. offers gently used clothes, toys, baby furniture, and other baby items for low, low prices. Also, asks families to bring items gently used for money. you just bring the items in and in about 20 minutes, they decide what to pay you and how much your merchandise is worth. Great place if you want to get rid of a lot of baby items without expecting or wanting a lot of money!
Some good deals Once Upon a Child is a children's resale business. Although I have not had good luck selling *to* them, I have bought some hard to find items from them, as well as a lot of my children's play clothes. Sometimes you'll go there and not find a thing - then the next time, I'll have PILES I need!
