Once Upon a nightmare! Why is everyone giving this store great reviews. IT STINKS. The clothes are horrible- the condition they take clothes in, bad wash wear, stains. Not a place I would buy from. I suggest to donate your clothes before bringing them here. The staff is rude also, the older spanish lady needs to learn manors.

Terrible Experience Sell On Ebay Instead I dropped clothes off there the other day. I went back at night expecting to have made some money. Instead they bought almost nothing and when I asked the manager why she gave me a snippy answer and preceded to go back to listening to music on the computer that had curses in it and an inappropriate video for a kids store. I had my two little kids with me. She looks like she should work in a bar or tattoo parlor instead and her english isn't that wonderful either. Will never go there ag... read more

Love the store! Love this store!! I made a baby basket full of brand new items for under $30. I've gotten tons of Juicy, Abercrombie and Hollister items there that we're all under $10, no sale at any of these stores could compare. As for selling... it may not be the amount you were looking for but that's because you're getting 30%, which isn't a bad thing. Most consignment shops give you 40% BUT make you wait till the stuff sells. So why not save yourself a headache and take the few less bucks...

not worth the drive This store is such a rip off, their clothes are in HORRIBLE condition. Things I've brought in I've never seen on the racks- I have higher end clothing from nordstroms, bloomies etc and they give me no money for them. I wouldn't doubt they keep them or ebay them. I hope somebody reports them! The staff is very rude and not helpful.

New Kids Consignment Store in Monroe- I Spy Consignment For those looking for an alternative, my wife Tamar has opened a wonderful kids consignment store about 25 minutes away called "I Spy Consignment" at 415 Main Street, Monroe, CT (across from Country Pizza). Of course I am biased, but the store really is beautiful. Tamar is putting so much effort into making sure that she only accepts items that are in new or near new condition. She carries kids clothes 0 to 12 and she has an entire room just for toys and another for kid... read more

Don't Give Them Your Clothes This place gives back all but the most perfect clothes, yet their racks are filled with junk. You can get some really good buys if you are willing to search. I recently went to consign 9 pairs of like new shoes and 5 one piece outfits (Gap or Better). They told me they'd give me $25 for all of it. The girl was really rude when I said I'd take it back. I'll never bring clothes there again.

Once Upon A Child of DANBURY is not worth it! Not to sound repetitive but yes, they will not receive high end clothes such as Lily Pulitzer, Crewcuts, Ralph Lauren, etc that I give them with tags on it!! Yet their racks are filled with out dated and stained clothes. All the work is not worth it. I just don't get it!!

this store sucks I thought this store sounded like a great place to bring clothes that I haven't used for my children (still had tags on). I knew I wouldn't get full price but the amount of money they give you back is ridiculous. They told me they wouldn't take back at least 5 shirts with tags all from baby gap and about 4 from a very upscale department store, with the tags. When you look at the clothes on the racks, you wonder why they have junk that look out of style and some in poor condition. When you question why they w... read more
