I saw Dr Effrain back in December. I was already diagnosed with plantar faschitis a few years ago but it was getting very painful so I thought I would give a new dr a try. Well after many xrays and just looking at my feet wanted me to get HOKAS shoes and do physical therapy. Well my insurance wouldn't cover the place she sent me too and the HOKAS she told me to buy have caused my feet more pain. So I am switching to Brooke today and try a different podiatrist. I was calling to get scheduled as a first time patient after being asked what my insurance was the receptionist said yes we take your insurance now you have to schedule online. I asked why do I have to schedule online if I’m on the phone with you and she rudely replied because I’m helping other people here at the office. I will definitely be taking my services elsewhere.
Too bad I can't give zero stars. Horrible experience with this office. Received a bill for service last year for $600 +. Since then invoice every month for 30, 60, 90 and 120 days. I also called many times during that period. They never billed my insurance. When I call they say they will but don't. My insurance verified they never filed a claim. Dr. Effrein and Mariam are amazing! DR. Effrein's skills, professionalism and rapport are next level. Both Dr Effrein and Mariam's connection with patients is heartwarming. Our emergency surgery was very complicated and scary. The quality of the surgery and the amazing follow-up was truly next level!
