Good food and entertainment
Food was delicious! Crab mornay over fried softshell crab with grilled green beans and coleslaw, couldn't ask for better. All was perfectly seasoned. Service was a little slow, however there was standing room only. Eddie Smith Band was on FIRE! First time I heard them.
Something for everyone and live music most nights. Oysters, wings, steaks, BBQ shrimp, fried catfish, draught beer
I love chargrilled oysters. I was not disappointed at THE HALF SHELL. It is a local hangout. The service was friendly. My husband was celebrating his birthday. He liked it also. He got grilled fish with crab in the sauce. It was really good. His salad was ample and served quick. Afterwards we moved to the bar area where we listened to live music. It was packed with fun peeps. We will return to this fun place.

We went here for the first time last night. The oysters were awesome! We very much enjoyed the music and atmosphere. The staff were great! We will be going back. Nick was an excellent waiter. Thanks to the bartender for making my Singapore Sling.
The oysters were terrific! Love the renovations & atmosphere!
What I enjoy most is listening to the Eddie Smith Band! Great place to meet my friends and socialize.
