Took my family of 9 to this establishment on 9/20 around 8p. When we walked in no one greeted us and finally waiter came and sat us at a table right at the door that was dirty. I asked if we could sit at the next table and she told me that table had already been cleaned🤔🤔 I asked for a manager that didn’t come right out. So I guess she heard me ask fo a manager and she came and moved us to the next table, she picked up the silverware and menus and just threw them on the table which only had six chairs. It was great! The food came fast, the service was great and the whole staff seemed to be working together it was a great experience. The manager Stucky was very helpful.Â
I love to watch the Braves at the bar after a long day at work. The food is delicious and the drink specials cannot be beat. The bartender Kayla is awesome!Â
For the price the food is not worth it. The portions are small for the price. Malachi, our server, took our order and someone else brought our food out and asked if we needed anything else, the other server took our cheese dip and heated it for us. Malachi never came by to ask how our food was or if we needed anything. He only came back to drop our ticket off. We had to wave him down to bring more tortillas for our fajitas and napkins. Servers can be clueless but the fajitas and margaritas are the bomb!Â
On the border is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Rapid City SD! Cant touch their happy hour!Â
I LOVE On the Boarder, and eat here literally everyweek. The service can be good or not so good depending on who help you. However, I love the guac live, queso, and tortillas!Â
