Worst experience of my life! I don't know how this company stays in business. Onside brings in workers right off of the street that have no idea what they are doing. Asking me to borrow tools, Incompetent work, substandard practices and materials. Violating building codes if they can get away with it. They are all talk but no action. Then if you point this out to them, they will say the customer is difficult and paint you as the bad guy. I was told 9 - 12 weeks, here I am 13 months later and still not even close to done. On Side, in Abbotsford, got the job to restore my garage, after a very small localised fire. This in a 40 foot long garage. Those fools ripped everthing out, all the drywall and all the insulation behine the drywall. Then they started to restore the east wall 40 foot long. They did NOT GET A PERMIT!!!! THEY DID NOT WORK TO CODE!!!!! Had to kick them off the job. Then the starta managers did nothing to help. I am 80 years old, forced to have to do it all myself. Never use that crooked company. On Side were shockingly poor, causing stress and disruption. They were bullying, misleading, found every excuse while constantly blaming others, wasted time and acted as if their purpose was to suit themselves. In the end, the outcome was satisfactory, although they wrongly tried to restrict our choices, which meant we did not get what we wanted. I suspect On Side benefited at our expense.
