All time Favorite store This is my pick for the best gift store in Claremont. The owner sells things that no one else does. Has an immaculate eye for quality and absolutlely impeccable taste. I love coming in here and checking out her modern, clean and at the same time very global vibe. I have purchased dishes , lotions, vases, decorations and a beautiful throw for a friend's birthday. On A Mission --Are They Going Out of Business? So, what's up with On A Mission? The last few times I have visited it looked very sparse. I mean, where did all the merchandise go? In the past it has been well stocked with very tasteful and unique items? It appears to be a first class shop and I hope they plan on staying in the Village.
Great Vibe. Really nice store with a beautiful aesthetic. Loved the cool zen vibe and how each piece is really well edited. I bought a Buddha sculpture and have my eye on a pair of beautiful sterling earrings. Nice staff/owner? Not really sure who helped me but they were really helpful.
Walk on by.......... Someone tell them that it is not polite to growl at your customers. I know I came in around lunch time, or maybe it was her nap time. Not a cheerful experience, in fact it was incredibly sad.
Do they ever pick up the phone??? I've been trying for a week to find out their hours, but have never been able to get a hold of anyone. Lame message states they are either closed or with a customer; at 10am, 11am, 4pm, give me a break. Better practice would be to state hours. I'm not going to drive 30 minutes to find out they don't have something in stock or are closed. Minimal Mission Accomplished...It an almost Empty Store! I have been in this store at least 10 times in the past year, and they never have any merchandise. It is a very clean minimal.... modern, empty look! There are a few bowls, candle sticks and some hemp outdoor mats.... the same mats they have at target, sorry! This store is trying to be cool, but it is missing someting.... merchandise! They use to have some interesting items, nice bath robes and towels... they don't have them anymore. I LOVE ON A MISSION This store is chic and cool yet the atmosphere is warm and friendly. The owner carefully hand picks every item in the store. I really appreciate the clean and modern look, a store not cluttered with a lot of junk made in China. It appears that the jewelry carried in this store is all American made which I really appreciate.The owner is such a great and friendly person who really knows the gift business. Thank Goodness for this wonderful shop !
