Nice person individually but professionally not so much. He is always LATE does not respond to opposing counsel motions in a timely manner. I would wait and when I see it had not been done I will literally draft my response and send to him and he will literally copy my draft verbatim and change the pro se to his name and maybe add one line then submit it.
