My brother, who was disabled, was receiving services from Omnicare. Just before he died in February he received a letter from a collection agency which offered a discount for an unpaid bill. I paid this amount and have front and back images of the check, but as of July 26th am still receiving bills for the entire amount. In a phone call to them in May, they confirmed they knew of said payment and told me it would take time to clear the account. Now going on 6 months that seems extreme.
