Staff is very nice hotel is beautiful and rooms are nice. However could not get the ac to cool the room properly, was set at 60 and it would not cool it lower then 74. In new orleans with heat index of 112 this was miserable. Spoke to the staff and they said an engineer would look at it and they never showed, and they were unable to move us to another room.
We’re here for our annual family vacation so this hotel was chosen by another family member who did all of the planning, but never in a million years would I EVER come back. We pulled up after a 7 hour drive to ask about parking options. The valet person acted like she didn’t see us. The parking is $50 per night and so is the parking across the street. The only other option is street parking on the side or behind the hotel, but you can only pay for up to 2 hours at a time. We required a cart to get our things up to our room ... read more
Our room 505 always has a basement musty smell . We dealt with it because it was not on our dime. The place is a little run down but overall was ok to stay . Also if your physically challenged in any way be aware that some rooms have an upstairs where your bed & bath are .
I can’t believe I had to leave this property within hours of checking in. After a long day at the airport and dance rehearsal immediately after, I finally arrived to my loft-style suite room to relax and refresh and that did I not. First, I noticed my bathroom was filthy and missing a trash can on the entire upper level. I called the front desk to request housekeeping. I decided to watch TV while I waited.
