We contracted with Omni Mandalay Hotel,Irving,TX for my daughters wedding in October 2019.We had issues AT ALL THE LEVELS. *Warning* Omni Gift Cards are being compromised by hotel staff or Buyatab 3rd party vendor *Do not buy Omni Gift Cards.* We bought my brother & sis-n-law a $250 Omni gift card for their graduation from nursing school (both NPs) back in Dec. 2018. They recently tried to use their gift card at the Omni in Ft. Worth to pay for their hotel stay only to find out it has a zero balance. Be prepared to pay a $24.00 Self Park Overnight fee per day, which is only made known to you upon check in. There is no way to dispute it. I do not think you should have to pay to park, unless you choose to use valet. Unless you want to park a mile down the road at the Publix and walk, you are forced to park in their parking lot and pay this ridiculous fee. Definitely dispute with your credit card company, as you will not get anywhere with the hotel's front desk, billing department or headquarters!

If you are looking for poor customer service and thieves then the Omni Austin Hotel is the place for you. I booked a trip with my wife and another couple on July 13th, 2018. I booked online and called the hotel afterwards to confirm my reservation. I spoke to rep who confirmed the reservation and when we spoke about the cancellation policy, said rep did not tell me that I had 14 days to cancel the reservation or it would be nonrefundable. While the hotel is nice, for sure, I did not know ahead of our stay that the pet fee was $175. The check-in representative asked her manager if the fee could be reduced since I was staying for one night and I have an 8-lb dog who sleeps in his kennel crate. She came back and said they said no but were willing to give a complimentary beverage in the morning (i.e. a soda or juice). I thought that was insulting given that I was charged an exorbitant fee which could easily have bought groceries for two weeks. There was no choice... read more
We recently had a little break and decided to choose Omni at Hilton Head. It's a wonderful resort and we had a great time. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency that came up and we needed to leave a couple days before our reservation was suppose to end. But the staff were super nice and understanding, and checked us out without any fees or anything. I can't thank Omni enough for being so understanding and working with us. I will definitely be staying with them in the future!
Management treated me and my wife very rudely and should very little professionalism. We received threats and insults with no cause. I travel all around the world and just haven't experienced anything like it. After staying there I read reviews and it explained a lot about this organization and their priorities.
