We tried the tofu appetizer and the gyoza. For dinner we had sashimi, pork curry and ribeye hibachi. The tofu, hibachi rice and veggies had less flavor than water. Gyoza was mushy and the steak was so overcooked that I am still trying to chew it so that I can safely swallow it. The pork curry was the highlight. I would give them a second chance solely based on the pork and the service. Maybe it was an off night?
My husband and I got bento boxes, overall they weren't bad. The chicken and tofu were pretty bland, the California rolls, shrimp tempura and fried yams were good. For the price point it's pretty decent. Just wish there was a bit more flavor. We ordered for pickup, pickup went smooth and the host was great.
The Shabu Shabu for 2 was fantastic, way too much food for 2. The thinly sliced prime rib just melted in our mouth. Great service too.
We been coming here for over thirty years. The food quality is always the great. Everytime I come to visit my Dad this is the place we go to first 💖
