Dr. Mei-Dan did my PAO and I cannot say enough. By month 6 I was hiking and biking in Europe, that’s what world class surgical care looks like. He’s confident, precise, and his standards ripple through every person on his team. He coordinated seamlessly with my other surgeon for the labral and capsular reconstruction, and the whole process felt supported at every step. PAO is a long road but having the right team makes all the difference. I have another hip to do and I’m going back to him without hesitation.
Only surgeon I’ve ever met for my hip dysplasia that’s led to me actually planning for the PAO. Even if you’re out of state, I’d recommend coming to Boulder to see him.
I’ve seen Dr. Mei-Dan for several surgeries over the last few years and couldn’t imagine going to any other doctor. He initially fixed a labral tear from an injury that occurred 10 years prior.
