Dr. Aljitawi was one of four doctors who treated my AML at the KU Cancer Center in 2009. While the other three doctors were great, Dr. Aljitawi and I really hit it off and he was by far my favorite. He could teach courses on proper bedside manner. He treats you like a real person, not just a statistic. He is engaging, personable, thoughtful and very intelligent. Easily the best doctor I've ever had and I miss him tremendously. Thank you for helping save my life, Dr. Aljitawi.
