I was sent a bill 3 and half months after my consultation. I called and asked why I got a bill. I thought it was a FREE consultation. The lady told me that I was told that I would have to pay out of pocket because of my insurance and that was my consultation. So, it was a free financial consultation. She also said that I went ahead and came in, so it was billed as a new patient visit. I was told at that appointment that I needed to wait for the insurance to figure out what I could have done.
