Editorial fromWith a name like OM, this Harvard Square hot-spot has set itself up for a critical backlash against pretentious misappropriation of Buddhist symbology. We're not sure we disagree. After all, a round of aromatherapy martinis in a Tibetan…

OM is out of this world – I have been to OM 3 times. And, I have loved every single visit. The first time, I went there after work with my friends, and we sat at the lounge. It was very cool. The crowd, the martinis (try Zen Te'), the ambience...just perfect. The second time, I had dinner with my girlfriend. This food is for foodies. If you think you know good food, then go to OM. They don't overstuff you like a pig. But, by the time you have finished your dessert, you feel like you just had a perfect meal. Awesome taste, pe... read more
pleasantly surprised – from the moment i walked in i wantd to not like the place but it was amazing. the color scheme, the drinks... cliff and matt at the bar are a great combo! the momos are to die for. i dont like cilantro so i was directed towards the veggie ones. i also had the korean beef. that is literally the coolest dish i have eaten in a very long time. watermelon and the beef make a mouth watering combination. the music was very chill downtempo & i have never scene so many girls in one place. Finally- a lounge that... read more
I wanted to like OM, but was sadly underwhelmed – Our appetizers included the olive ravioli and the greens. The ravioli was plump and well conceived, and the greens were abundant and lightly coated in Thai flavors. OM seemed promising at first. With the entrees, the meal began to fall apart. The Surf and Turf was laughably portioned, barely large enough to serve as an appetizer. (Apparently, OM still holds to the tired big plate, little food craze.) The tuna was passable, though nothing special, and the beef momos were no bi... read more
Wanna Be That Is Nothing New and Overpriced. – Although the place looks cool, it isn't. The service staff is overwhelmed or too stupid to service well, having people wait in all locations and crowd places for no reason. Rude bartenders take forever to serve people, and when they do, you overpay for weak, watery drinks. Don't be fooled by the TV's or fact that this place is new. The crowd is lacking and sets a stage for a regretful night. Keep walking by this one.
Spectacularly bad and overpriced food, great bar – The food was a total joke - entrees are sized as appetizers and are mediocre and absurdly expensive. Even if they cut food prices by 50% it would still not be cheap. The bar/lounge area is great, the cocktails are excellent, just don't order any food. My friends and I are betting on when this place closes, no way are people so stupid as to keep going to eat there. The over/under is about a year, I have the under.
Be ready for a long wait for pretty mediocre food – This place has a great ambience, it's trendy and well decorated, I only wish I could say the food and service was as good - but it's not! I had the Parsnip soup (too sweet) and the Thai bouillabaisse (very mediocre) As for the service, we waited 20 minutes between courses, then waited 10 minutes for the valet to bring our car around. Since they are fairly new, perhaps the service can be fixed but the food isn't worth going back for.
Don't go here if you are looking for great food – The ambiance and decor of this place is interesting. The crowd is young and hip. However, the food and the decor do not match. The nice decor masks the poorly made dishes. I was expecting something with a more asian flare but I only got typical american food. I tried the steak and egg which was recommended. However, the meat was tough without any flavor and the eggs greasy. If you are just looking for drinks, I think the restaurant is fine. Not recommended if you are a true f... read more
Sensual, Romantic and Delish! – What a gorgeous place! Someone told me a slice of Nirvana - I have to agree. The Tibetan artwork, waterfalls, and stone scuptural walls set a beautiful environment. We loved the Lavendar infused Cosmo - and they make a slammin' Mojito! Upstairs, the restaurant is just right - good spacing on the tables for privacy, and just the right noise level for intimate conversation. We had the Thai Bouillabaise (5 Stars!) and starters of "grilled cheese & tomato soup" (try it! Trust me!) and duck (also f... read more
Taste & Live the East in the West – Finally I can dine in Boston and feel like dining in another country rich with culture. Unlike most resturants in Boston the setting is extremely romantic, try sitting in the VIP lounge. The food especially the steak and eggs so tender it literally melts in your mouth. The light and water effects are relaxing. We were greeted by the Owner and was giving a tour of the resturant which made us feel like VIPs...u dont see that often....it's worth another visit...oh, by the way try the sugar da... read more
