My doctor at Mt Druitt is great but the reception and organisational prople there are usually terrible. They seem to have a limited understanding of the English language and as for booking an appointment in advance, so many times it gets messed up by the people behind the scenes. Even just now, the lady in front of of me made her 9am appointment three weeks ago (first for the day) and two weeks ago I booked the 9.15am slot. I love this medical centre - my dr is amazing - & so are the reception and nurse that do the vaccinations. For the person below complaining that no one saw your daughter with a swollen fractured wrist at 6pm as if it was an emergency then maybe you should have done just that and taken her to the emergency room. The practice closes at 7pm so ofcourse by 6pm they would need a specified appointment. What are you wanting to gain from a local gp with An injury like that and so late in the evening? The dr we seen was brilliant, easy to understand. The staff where polite and professional. We made an appointment but after filling in a new patient form etc it wasn’t too long till we seen a dr. My children where sick wih respiratory problems and once paperwork was filled, we where immediately taken back into the nurses quarters where both where taken care of by the nurse.
