Nurse ignored my grandmother's open wound. When I mentioned it the nurse said she would note the wound in the chart for care. No notes were made. Fake smile, lack of care, no empathy for elder in pain.
The Olympic Medical Center ignored my father's DNR and then sent me a bill for their time going against his wishes. I believe they are well intentioned but ineffective.
After a major stoke my husband made little improvement in a rehab facility in Seattle. Olympic Medical Home Heath team of therapists have brought him along way. Getting assistance from the nurses and aids is so helpful. i can’t praise them enough.
The nurses there are awesome. Some of them go above the call of duty. Nurses like Barb Wise, Donna Dewey, and Elinore(RIP), no one can compare to their kindness, compassion, and their aggressiveness when they see a problem. If it wasn't their for their alertness, I would not be here today. I love and miss you all so much
