I am shaking right now because of the fear I have over my experience as a child with this dr. I was 9 years old at the time and needed a check up because I had just started my cycle. My regular doctor who I loved retired a few months prior and my mom was trying to choose a new dr for me. Dr. Karen Fukui - Review if i could put ZERO stars i would. she probably doesn’t remember me or the trauma and pain she has caused to my life. when i was 5 or 6 i went in for a check up and she called me obsese and that i “didnt fit on the charts”. It was in that moment when the realization came through that I looked different from the majority of everyone else around me. I was 5/6. From that point on there wasnt a day I didnt annalize my body, feel anxious for wanting certain foods or more food, compared myself to everyone ... read more

Throughout the years, Dr. Fukui has been very thorough and attentive. Her honesty can be too upfront for some but her knowledge and medical guidance is supported my studies and modern medical practice. She was a great doc and will be missed.
