Received a text message only saying my balance is xyz...I called and said I would not pay it until I saw a copy of the bill and services rendered as well as insurance adjustments. Asked that they email me the bill and was told they cannot and they would mail it. This is completely outside of my Providence hospital bill. Why? Says it was for the doctor that read my scans. Ridiculous separate billing from the hospital emergency department. This was a shocking, unknown expense during a health emergency. Not worth seeking treat at Providence St Peter Hospital because of it.
STAY AWAY from this company!!! overpricing and cost gouging over services billed to your insurance co and your pocket book! OESP is extremely clever at how they over bill for services thru their sister company Multi care and then thru OESP-this is why our insurance is so expensive! A basic visit for a sore throat turned out to be nearly $3400 of billing with their sister companjy Multi Care/OESP What a racket! A tough lesson learned.
I have been trying for 4 months to get a refund owed to me for $398.67. I have jumped through a new hoop every time I talk to them. I was given a tracking number January 29th and never heard again, despite trying to get updates. Extremely discouraging.
