I came in today for a second consult with Dr. Olutayo Sogunro, and she stands out as the best doctor I have ever met, breast surgeon or otherwise. Her ability to explain complex medical information in clear, plain language sets her apart. She taught me so well about my breast cancer that I left feeling confident and informed. You want Dr. Sogunro on your team if you're going through a breast cancer event. She is the best. That's not a subjective comment. She is caring, personable, has a big heart, non-dismissive, confident and beaming with joy and passion about what she does; she's patient. Dr. Sogunro - Is who you want if you are diagnosed with breast cancer especially triple negative breast cancer. I just had my 24 month cancer diagnosis anniversary. She is a wonderful surgeon and has amazing bed side manner which you need after this type diagnosis. She listens, she educates and made me feel empowered at a very scary time in my life.
