UPDATE: DO NOT BUY FROM OLSON RUG IN HP!!! Since the installation of our carpet (a Shaw Industries product), we have become 100% dissatisfied. Almost immediately, we started seeing spots on the carpet that wouldn’t come clean (this is a Stainmaster carpet). Using a vacuum, carpet cleaner, rug shampooer, etc) resulted in the spots spreading and actually attracting dirt. Anything that touches this carpet seems to create a permanent stain. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Olson Rug in Highland Park, and Fred in particular. He was very helpful in picking out the right carpets for our home and also stopped by the house several times to do the measurements as well as when the carpets were being installed. I would definitely recommend Olson Rug to anybody who is considering new carpet for their home.
Over the years we have purchased carpeting 3 times from Olsen Rug in Highland Park. Fred Rahbar guided our purchase each time; making suggestions, offering samples and providing excellent customer service. We would certainly work with Fred in the future for any flooring purchases. Also, the installers did a great job.
Fred has been taking care of our families flooring needs for over 20 years, I hope he never retires but he sure deserves to have some time for himself, he has been there 24/7 for his customers for 30+ years.
Will never go anywhere else for carpet, rugs or flooring (as long as Fred is there)! Fred is beyond caring, helpful and knowledgeable. Absolutely invaluable advice and perspective. Personally came to the house to make suggestions and ensure everything would be how we hoped. Talked us out of a few bad ideas and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.
