what I like about dr Olson is that he is a person of integriy. He is very conservative about recommending procedures. So even though he may be on the expensive side, this is a guy you can trust to do what is needed, not what will earn him the most money.
Dr. Olsen is a superb dentist who cares for his patients with amazing skill and great kindness. The hygienists keep their patients coming back for years and years; the whole office is friendly and accommodating -- this is as good as it gets.
Dr. Olson has taken superb care of my mouth & teeth,for the past decade, solved problems professionally and when called for creatively i-- ncluding putting a front area tooth back in permanently -- that I had lost! Missed his calling, he's an artist.
Down-to-earth, honest, excellent dental work, great supporting team, friendly, relaxed office, no pain. A wonderful dentist.
The quality of dental care is good, but prohibitively expensive. Get a price estimate first! The oral exam was a joke. Dr. Olson came in, examined my teeth for 10 secs and spent the next 10 minutes trying to sell me an expensive teeth whitening treatment. They billed me $100 for this. They didn't even take an X-ray. If you choose this dentist, ask a lot of questions, particularly about price. He will use the most expensive materials and treatments which often aren't covered in many dentist insurance plans. Dr. Olson and his staff are consistently professional, competent, thoughtful and friendly. His office is the best of old fashioned dentistry providing caring and personal attention to patients with the most up-to-date knowledge and skills.
James Olson and his staff are fabulous. They are a homogeneous group, have worked together for the entire time James has been my dentist, about 20 years. Gail has been my hygienist for all this time, as Kathy has been Jim's assistant. That speaks for the working conditions. As to care and personal concern, these, in addition to impeccable professionalism, have been all I could ask for and more. I have been a patient of Dr. Olson's for about 20 years now. I consider his work top drawer and he's always there if there is a problem. He's thoroughly professional and highly competent, he also employs a first-rate staff. He's not cheap, but I can't imagine any good professional being inexpensive these day's. The 3 star stress rating, instead of 4, is totally me as I dislike dental work quite a bit. RS
