We had them out for some mud-jacking and they told us in advance that due to lots of brickwork around the slabs that it would be a tricky job and that some of the bricks might crack. They arrived on time and were very friendly! Due to the bricks, they checked in with us several times throughout their work and talked us through our choices, with no pressure at all about how we proceeded. On 5/9/24 an Olshan rep (Marc Schafer) came to my property to preview the crawl space issue. I was told I'd have drawings and an estimate within a couple days. On 5/15, I contacted the rep asking when I would get their estimate...he never responded. I also called their office that day and was told they are "very busy" and they would need a week to get me an estimate. I reminded her that it has been 6 days and I'll expect to see it the next day. 2 more weeks went by and I still had not received anything from anyone at Olshan.... read more

I needed piers in one area of my home, contacted 5 different foundation repair folks for estimates. Most send just a sales guy, Olshan was the only company that sent a registered engineer to look at the problem and develop an estimate. Their estimate was lower than all the others (by enough to make me really research their reputation). The work was performed on time and on budget. I initially setup and appointment with Olshan and it was several months out. I had a entrance to my basement that had a drain that would not drain out. Oshan came out and gave me an estimate to put in a sump pump to solve the issue. While it was not cheap, there are not a lot of companies out there doing this type of work.
