I was her patient for several years without ever having met her. I only saw her nurse for check ups, iud insertion, iud removal, etc. When I suspected that I was pregnant and scheduled an appointment for testing and an ultrasound, I was told I would not be seen unless I signed a contract and started making nonrefundable payments for her to be my OB. Had her for my entire pregnancy. I feel cheated of my birth experience. Once I told her I wanted to go natural she started pushing the epidural every appointment from 36 weeks. She said not to make any noise if I don’t get it or I will make everyone and all the nurses uncomfortable. When I said I feel like it’s natural to make noise when your having a baby she said if you have to make noise you can’t handle it just get the epidural. She is an old school dr who thinks she is God and what she says goes. If you question her she will talk to you like you are ignorant, and will not give you any facts to back her opinions. If you are just going for gynecology then Her nurse Stacy is the most amazing nurse ever! I Exclusively went to her nurse before becoming pregnant. After I requested my medical records to get a second opinion she “fired” me from her practice. The greatest of all time. My quality of life has significantly improved under the excellent care of Dr. Ollar. She takes her time to hear your concerns and explain things. Also, she'll spend a few moments chit-chatting with you. Let's face it ladies - sometimes when you're on that exam table, it feels a little dehumanizing. But with Dr. Ollar, she treats you like a PERSON, and you feel your dignity is still intact.
