As a member, here’s what I have to say: -I hope you don’t think membership fees include Pilates…you have to pay extra for those. -Unruly kids are everywhere without a babysitter -**Food quality at the club v. the hotel: quality and the SAME items being offered are night and day. Relaxing - comfortable beds - all amenities - amazing gym and pools
I stayed at The Houstonian Hotel from March 14–17, 2026. The grounds are nice and walkable, but the hotel feels dated, with low ceilings and old-style room decor. What really disappointed me was the lost-and-found service. I realized on March 19, two days after checkout, that I had left a bag behind. I called that night and was told a ticket would be filed, but no one gave me any idea of the turnaround time.
