Need more training for their employees I have dealt with Oliverio's in Bridgeport only because I am a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and she happened to find our dresses there. The sizing/measuring they have done is way off. The two girls, me being one of them, who went to Oliverio's to be measured for our dresses have been back 3 times to be fitted. DO NOT GO HERE PEOPLE! I went to this store 2 wks ago and went back up last wk to try it on well it was still to long so she said to come back in a couple of minutes and she would make it shorter. So when I went back she handed it to me and that was it Luckly I tried this dress on @ home! Because they did something to the dress it was to tight! I wish I could give this place negative stars . . . My mother took me to Oliverio's to buy a dress for my junior prom. Of course, I was very happy when I went in, but I soon became concerned when I saw that I knew more about dresses than they did. (They're called "ball gowns", not "poofy dresses" . . . Yes, they actually said that!!) I soon found a dress that I loved. It was in a size 6, which is completely too small for me, but I attempted to try it on to see what it looked like. It looked great. I won't go back! I should have listened to my friends when they said that this store was awful. It was. The people working were rude & the gowns were dirty & damaged. Every dress I pulled out was either picked, pulled or had a broken zipper and then they refused to discount for the damage. Their prices were high & they stuck their noses up higher. I will never go back to this place.
would leave zero stars if possible This staff is beyond rude, but worse than that is their complete lack of knowledge regarding their jobs. I would rather wear barbed wire than return here again...and the barbed wire would probably be nicer, more experienced and more helpful. What a waste of time and money.
The staff is so uppity and rude... The selection is okay but really hard to sort through. They carry some of the more popular bridal designers, but I just can never get over the rudeness of their staff. They are demanding, tell you what to try, will also tell you something looks bad and are just pushy. They are also very smoky smelling and hard to be around. Oliverios rocks! I went to Oliverios for a prom dress and they were kind, helped me with every question, and even added their own input. I bought a gorgeous gown, and all the people who bad mouth it were probably rude anyway.
I highly recommend Oliverio's Bridal Boutique!! After reading the two negative reviews, my daughter and I were very reluctant to visit Oliverio's. Those reviews are so off base. I have visited a number of shops this year and this store was by far my best experience. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store was clean, airy and well organized.
