Pretty disappointing. Food was extremely oily and very high priced for the quality. The burger was fine, steak came out pre cut and cold and the gnocchis were just dumped into a very cheesy substance. The space has a cool vibe to it but its extremely loud and it took surprisingly long to put in our order and be served the food. I would not recommend this place.
Finally.. 🙌🏽 🍔 Had the opportunity to stop by Oliver's and have one of Chicago's BEST burgers! Simple clean & cooked to perfection. Grilled Onions & Aged Cheddar on a Toasted Sesame Bun. Served with Truffle Fries & their House Aioli. Simply the Best Burger I've ever had. I splurged and had to try their signature oysters with a raspberry vinaigrette & added caviar to one of them. We visited for our first wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The service was exceptional, the food was phenomenal, the restaurant decor is beautiful and the vibe is intimate. It will definitely be a spot we return to the next time we visit Chicago.
Have been to Oliver’s multiple times and have always enjoyed it. Last night, however, was NOT IT. From the start, the host could not be more unpleasant. We had a reservation and, honestly, it felt like we were treated as a walk in. The table before us hadn’t left yet.. no problem. But there is no good place to stand and wait and we were there with our coats waiting for over 20 minutes.
