Idk, maybe I could of went 5 star, because the burger and fries were great. Truffle fries were not crispy like explained on doordash but they were good. Had the cookie, delicious. $20 for that rather small burger by itself is extremely pricey but it was phenomenal. Also i tried calling because I had a question before ordering but they only had an automated message that was long and it said to text them which I did, but never texted back.
the fact you guys are now telling people to pay for a deposit to eat here is genuinely insane work. This literally stops people from wanting to make reservations.
Oliver's is a MUST visit. I cannot emphasize what a lovely time my friends and I had. I cannot sing enough praises to the immense care and charismatic service provided. The space itself is beautiful and while it seats more than you'd think, there's a level of coziness and intimacy. The food is well prepared and delicious. I had high expectations, but left disappointed. Salad was over dressed, fish was just okay, but served room temperature. Potatoes dauphine had too many shallots, making it too strongly flavored. Net, not a good experience. And obviously, will not return to give them a second chance. Sorry Oliver. :-(
