We recently used Olive & Fig for a large group event for our Toronto office and I cannot recommend them enough. From the start, their communication was timely and professional. What really stood out was their thoughtful consideration of dietary needs; they provided excellent recommendations that ensured everyone felt included and well-fed. The signature Charcuterie tray was lovely! The customer service was exceptional! The Brie bake was very small and in my opinion, overpriced. Likely my fault for ordering as the oven safe dish was priced in and of no use to me afterward.
As a result of the Christmas holidays. Our usual charcuterie service (Graze anatomy) was closed, so we tried Olive and Fig. We paid extra for early delivery which arrived as promised. Far too much bread that quickly went stale, a high cost for a platter with so little variety. One set of tongs for a platter for 15 people, no knives for the 2 jams, little variety of cheese. So disappointing, never again.
This was my first time ordering from O&F & I was very impressed. I wanted to send a food platter to my sisters house where the family was heading home after a long day after attending the grandma's funeral. As you all know it is a depleting (emotionally & physically) day.
