First time at Olin. We were looking forward to this experience but we got disappointed by everything. Food and service was mediocre. The best part was the bread. We ordered the feta wontons that were so bad. The burger was not good and the chicken was very bland. The polenta we didn’t touch.We will not return. There are plenty of amazing restaurants in Detroit and unfortunately Olin won’t be in our rotation.

Menu is full of typos and there’s a strange watery chocolate creme br�l�e that just doesn’t work, and looks tacky with all the whipped cream put on top of it. Didn’t have the German beer I wanted on the menu. Food on the more expensive side but average. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Place is very nicely decorated. The apple tart was good. But the food isn’t up to par.

One of our absolute favorite places in downtown Detroit! The food is consistently delicious, the service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is stylish yet comfortable. Whether we stop in for dinner or drinks, Olin Bar & Kitchen never disappoints. Highly recommend!
