Y'know what, I had this experience years ago and it's been bothering me since. It's not about the doctor so much, but her desk staff. I came in nervous and shaking. I have essential tremor, and also was taking an SSRI that made me shake even more. I had to hear her front staff whispering about how much I was shaking and they were all staring at me (no, not paranoia, I literally HEARD and SAW them), and I just wanted to run out and cry. And ofc, it only made me shake even more. I will not be coming back.
What a fantastic professional Doctor. Difficult to find a caring doc these days. She is exceptionally caring, made me feel comfortable, explained everything, taking time and speaking calmly and reassuringly. She is clearly up to date, pleasant, attentive and thoughthfull. Can not speak highly enough of her Thank you, Dr. Calof
Dr. Calof has been my endocrinologist for over 10 years now and she has been such a compassionate, caring and empathetic doctor. I had 2 other doctors prior to her and the amount of time, consideration and care that she has provided has been amazing. At one point, I had a $100 specialist copay and she worked with me so that I could still be treated by her and have minimal in-office visits with her. I would recommend her to anyone in need of help with their thyroid!
This Dr. is gold digger! Its mean she pick her patients based on $or$$$. all the reviews on different websites are paid for please DO NOT fool by her office and staff.
I had seen Dr. Calof after my amazing Dr. retired. Dr. Calof kept trying to push Synthriod even after I explained my severe reaction to Synthriod and Levoxyl products. I informed her how I came about Armour Thyroid and hadn't had any side effects and feel great. Yet, every appointment after she kept pushing Synthriod. My health and experience with Synthriod products are more important then her referral check.
