As a young student with issues with scheduling due to classes and other responsibilities, office was very difficult to navigate. Was also told monthly appointments were needed due to insurance and after calling the insurance company that turned out to not be true.
Unfortunately for almost two months I have been waiting access for my own medical records. Unacceptable and unlawful.
Called the office, having a really hard time coping...the priority of the moment was my copays and me filling out a credit card authorization form. What if wanted to give my copays in cash? What if I don't have a credit card?...This Anna person couldn't care less..... You would think, especially now with Covid, that they may have wanted to actually help someone who is in a mental crisis. I found them on Psychology today...be careful with this place, I never even got the chance to see the doc and get some help
Avoid like the plague! Too lazy and inconsiderate to arrive on time so expect a one to two hour wait. Totally lacking in empathy. Not having a doctor is better than her!

I called for an appointment as a new patient, this doctor is in-network with my plan. I would be responsible for a $70 co-pay for the first 3 visits (0 used as of this writing) and then I would be responsible for my deductible and co-insurance. The office called me back after verifying my benefits and the girl stated that the doctor wants to be paid $120 for the social worker visit and $350 for the doctor visit UP FRONT!! Typical GREEDY mentality..
It is impossible to speak with someone on the phone. I left numerous messages and also email and no one got back to me. I took the liberty to visit the office and I was told that someone will get back to me but no one did. I went back to the office 9 days after only to be told they will call my son at home. Someone did call only to tell my son that they were not accepting new patient. I will not recommend anyone to the Winthrop office.
