Great taste, less filling – Not really! Quite filling Due to the generous portions. Be sure to try the corn sticks, they're great! Traditional east-coast North Carolina barbeque with all the extras....Brunswick stew, hush-puppies, boiled potatoes, cole slaw, and the daily vegetables from which to choose. An excellent choice when feeding a large group, and take-out is always hot! No thick, sweet, tomato-y sauce, just vinegar-based seasoning on chopped pork....excellent!
Ole Time BBQ is an All Time favorite!! – I am from eastern North Carolina (the ONLY part of the country that REALLY knows BBQ) and I love this place! It has the incredible BBQ and hushpuppies, a great staff and the loyal patrons that all truly great BBQ places must have to be considered one of the best!

Great service – great service. good price. best bar-b-que in Raleigh. No waiting for someone to take your order.
Damn Fine Pig – Simply the best barbeque in Raleigh. Coopers and Don Murray's pale in comparison. Better pig, hushpuppies, sides, and banana pudding. Unbelievably fast, friendly service that can only be brightened by a Jerry Hart joke or hug. Gotta watch out for that last one!
SIMPLY THE BEST – There is no other place around that can beat the BBQ at Ole Time and i will put money agianst that.... You must try this for yourself it is THE BEST. To the people at Ole Time BBQ keep up the great work !!!!
