One of the worst properties in the area. Property is ran by one person in Virginia, everybody else needs to seek her approval before they can walk. Units have water intrusion problems, if you have discolored areas near front door, sliding door, or utility closet you have water intrusion. Water intrusion leads to mold. Windows have mold on them due to poor instalation and being aluminum. Walls are paper thin and you hear everything. Property manager is "job scared" and afraid of residents. I have lived at Oldfield for years and has I have no complaints so far, the only thing that aggravates me is that the pool is not opened and is 80 degrees. All other appartment complexes have their pools opened. The kids are about to be off for a couple of days and they won't be able to enjoy their time off in the pool.

Overall this is a nice little community. Quiet, great for families with kids. They do the background check as well. Staff has recently changed a bit and are friendly. Maintence is always helpful even about the little things. If you get transfered they do give you a few options but expect to pay a few fines. They do have woods on 4 sides so lots of deer, armadillo, spiders and bugs around outside. Good pool and fitness room. I would reccomend living here.
