The entire practice both in St. Augustine and Atlantic Beach is "bait and switch". I have more than a dozen friends/colleagues who were told to have "deep root scaling" done at a charge of $800 vs. a regular $100 cleaning. All have since changed dentists and were told by their new Dr. there was no need for this expensive procedure. Countless times we have all heard the dentist pitching this to other patients, mostly seniors. This will not be the first review that this is mentioned for this practice. Dr Tawil was just about taking teeth out to address my periodontal issues which were being managed fine for 10 years. All about money with him

I went to this dentist to replace fillings that had fallen out. He overcharged and I was in severe pain after he applied his treatment. I am now being treated by another dentist. Do not go to this dentist.

Dr. Dixon and his staff are great, they changed my outlook on going to the dentist's office, after many years of unpleasant military dentistry. They truly care for the patient and his/.her overall well being. I have had extensive work done, and everything has been exceptional. I would highly recommend Dr. Dentist and his excellent staff for any of your dental needs.
