I had my sons birthday breakfast there with 8 people and even though it was a Sunday they were very accommodating and the food and service were great!! It is our number one breakfast place!!
Food was great, as per usual, however I don't think it is appropriate to give someone the bill shortly after delivering the food. I had intended to order additional food but was turned off by that.
Cannot recommend this place enough for breakfast! Biscuits and gravy were on point!
Found this place on accident before returning home from vacation. Very cozy, great food, great service! Highly recommend!

After being to Old Tymes dozens of times over the last 25 years for breakfast, I was sent a gift card to try lunch for the first time. Today we went and had stuffed mushrooms, fish & chips, and fried jumbo shrimp. First off, the waitress was fantastic. The portions were massive (took half home). The mushrooms were the best we've had since Olympic Pizza closed their doors. The shrimp and cod were also both very good; not "fishy" at all. Maybe next time we'll try some of your famous prime rib for dinner. Thank you for lunch!
Kinda like Cracker Barrel, the waitress took awhile but the food was good.
My son and I love coming here for breakfast 🍳 I can not speak for the lunch or dinner, as I've never had it. I have been a customer for about 20 years.

I was referred to this place by a coworker many years ago when I mentioned my struggle finding good sausage gravy and biscuits in CT, having grown up in Virginia. They told me the owners are from Tennessee and they do southern food right. Boy were they right! I love the sausage gravy and biscuits, they and the atmosphere remind me right away of my grandmother every time I go there.
