I love eating here! The food is good and the people are so nice.
This restaurant is a new favorite in our house! This hidden gem in downtown Shawnee offers healthy meal options, a kind staff, and kid friendly environment. The real show stopper is the fruit cup! If the variety of fresh fruits isn’t enough for you, then the lobster grilled cheese will steal the show. We are so happy to have a healthy minded option in the heart of the city. You’ve won us over The Owl Shoppe!

Their tuna salad sandwich was the yummiest I've ever had! Also, my husband ordered the loaded baked sweet potato (which I was quite sceptical about) and it was devine! Whoever came up with that one needs some type of an amazing award!! We had a very wonderful lunch experience there and will definitely be back! :-)
Not your average cafe! Phenomenal variety of food and everything is delicious. A must eat!

We waited over an hour to get our food. Waiters were serving food and seperating dirty dishes at the same time In the same space where the food was being cooked..not to mention not one waiter washed their hands in between ...... Food may be great, i don’t know we left! waited to long and not to mention the waiter was rude, which he was our second waiter because the first one literally forgot about us, but the place is really not santitary...has an odd smell and not very clean but I’m sure the food is being contaminated becau... read more
The food here is amazing, however this is the second time I’ve come here to eat from Choctaw and it’s been closed. When you change your hours or decide not to open people will quit coming.

Sheila we are sorry for the inconvenience, we had a family emergency that couldn't be helped. We are usually open when we are supposed to be. We have had to close a couple of times lately and posted on facebook that we would be closed. there is not much more we can do when an emergency happens. we will also be closed next Friday night so that I can attend my daughter's graduation just so you know.
