Horrible Bed, and Nonchalant Owner! – My husband and I booked a 2 night stay at Walden Cottage in July. The cottage itself was fine, and we enjoyed our afternoon watching TV/movies from the pull-down screen attached to the bed. However, when we went to bed at night, we were unable to sleep because of the poor quality of the bed. See The Stars From Bed – The room was incredible, groceries and restaurants were within walking distance, the woodwork of the Inn was beautifully textured. We would recommend this place to anyone. Their wine tasting session was unbelievable. Chocolate desserts appeared to be a specialty of theirs. And of course breakfast - not just for a sweet tooth (real food is available). GREAT PERSONAL TOUCH – The accomodation and the service was FANTASTIC. Lana the Innkeeper and Sam the proprietor will whip up a splendid breakfast in the morning. You must not miss the chocolate buffet they serve in the early evenings, They are to die for (not kidding). The ambiance is very romantic and the rooms that we stayed in was GREAT ask for the cottage room! Sam gives great suggestions if you want to go to some off the beaten path outside of winery. Try Bodega bay!
Chocolate Lovers Paradise – After a long day of visiting vineyards, what a great place to come back to. Beginning at 3 with tea and cookies, followed by cheese and wine, and then the chocolate buffet in the evening, you won't be hungry for a second. The rooms are lovely.
