Gay McGee Dr Mondon has taken excellent care of all my (kids) dogs for the past 7 years and i have always been very happy with him and his staff. He recently stitched my poodle up and did such a fantastic job taking care of him. I appreciate Dr Mondon and everyone i've ever dealt with at his office!
Excellent I took both of dogs to this clinic. Although it is not fancy I was very impressed with the vet. One of my dogs is old and is having stiffness and trouble getting around in the morning. Instead of ordering a lot of expensive x-rays and surgery (as another vet wanted to do) Dr. Mondon started her on an inexpensive medication to see if that would clear up the problem. She feels great and did not have to suffer through scary procedures. I found the vet very knowledgeable with a very dry sense of humor. He did give my d... read more
Bang for the Buck ! Dr Mondon at Old West Animal Clinic doesnt have a fancy office, doesnt run alot of "specials" but then he doesnt have to ! His practice speaks for itself ! Located of 1187 at the edge of Mansfield, his office is a converted older home. Nothing fancy but clean and functional. I shopped around for spay and neuter prices before trying Dr. Mondon...Not only was he the cheapest, he was the best ! 3 of my animals have been seen by him and all 3 visits were excellent. Thank You Dr. Mondon The guy who had a problem with muzzling his dog so the Dr. wouldn't get bit was wrong. Dr. Mondon is one of the most kind doctors in the metroplex much less Mansfield. I truly respect the guy for not doing unnecessary procedures that run up your bill. He does what he needs to but that's it. I have been to other vets that seem to want to check every possibility which means an untold number of procedures and then you walk out with a $200+ bill for something minor. Amateur and Uncaring.... I took my dog to the old west animal hospital for the first and last time today. The receptionist was nice enough and they got us an appointment in a timely manner and things were just fine until we met the doctor. He came into the room and asked all the normal questions and seemed relatively bored with the whole process. Then....Then he attempted to take my dog's temperature. Great Doctor!!! Being an employee at Dr. Mondon's practice is a true joy not only is he calm and assertive with animals in the room he is behind the scenes to. I havent been working with him very long and I can already see he is a great doctor.
Awesome Vet Dr. Mondon is excellent! When I take my babies to him I know for sure my dogs are getting the treatment they need for a reasonable price. I recommend him all the time.
The Old West Animal Hospital, Dr. Mondon's old west ways I was reading the reviews and I found myself quite upset. Dr. Mondon is an excellent Vet! I would recommend him to anyone who loves their animal. Yes he considers your animals comfort level, therefore with dogs he does a lot of his procedures on the floor. For Mr. John Floyd, get over it any animal is uncomfortable getting a rod shoved up their !!! As far as the Muzzle it wouldn't have hurt your little pooch however it would have protected Dr. Mondon from getting bit. ... read more
