Don't Waste Your Time – To be consistent with the other reviews the Customer Service was terrible. Not only will I never eat there again but the old saying of if one person has a bad experience and then they tell 10 others - well! I took my parents who were visiting from out of town and my daughter and was very excited about trying this place. My mom wanted the Baby Spinach salad with organic greens instead of spinach and I wanted the same salad but without goat cheese since I don't eat goat cheese. Silly me - I made the mis... read more
I LOVE BREAKFAST When someone told me that there was a great place for breakfast at the camp in Costa Mesa, I was a little skeptical. When I had driven by in the past I had assumed it was some kind of tree hugger hang out. I thought that I was going to this place so that I could tell my friend that he obviously has horrible taste in breakfast establishments and that he should just stick to Denny's and keep his mouth shut. I was wrong. The place is hidden, and its tiny, BUT it is DELICIOUS. I had their pumpkin pecan brioche f... read more

Solid food, great restaurant. I have now dined at Old Vine for breakfast, lunch & dinner and there is no other spot in OC that serves all three this well. The Open Face breakfast sandwich is one of the best I have had, the Beef and Truffle panino is do die for, and the tasting menus at dinner are a great deal! The best part of the whole place is the service. It is casual without being pretentious. Five stars, for sure.
Very bad customer service. Won't ever try to eat there again – I have to agree with the "terrible service" review again. I'm guessing that things go well enough most of the time, but from the various reviews out there, it really seems like these bad experiences happen pretty frequently... In my case, I didn't even get to the food because the person who was seating people was so rude to us (telling us twice in a catty and accusatory fashion that he had called our name many times when his own staff had messed up). After I told... read more
Delicious and great pairing sugestions! I finally stopped into Old Vine for some small plates and wine. First of all, the space is quaint and the staff is welcoming. While the food and wine is top notch, the attitude is down to earth, which is nice. My husband and I got a couple of plates (yes, we did get the mac and cheese) and then paired it with the suggested wine. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the red they paired with the mac, it went perfectly with the food. These guys really know what they are doing. I cannot wait... read more
Macaroni is sooooo good Such a cute little cafe to have a long leisurely lunch. Every time I go I have to get the Mac and cheese with a glass of their Old Vine red wine. It's so rich and yummy, I can never stray away and order anything else.
Exceptional – The wine expert was Fantastic, mario Mario the some expert was fantastic The wine expert was Fantastic, mario Mario the some expert was fantastic
Perhaps bias, but this lillte gem never stops delighting me with its fresh and flavorful dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The menu is international yet its wonderful comfort food. What the OC was long over due for - The road less traveled in food minus the stuff atmosphere Love it!
