I had purchased a canvas and yarn from this shop at the beginning of Covid and the shut down. They were following the mandated rules and I was able to coordinate what I needed over the phone with a sales person. I went to the store and they handed my order to me through the door. I called them this week because I needed more yarn. I called for their hours and to see if they were following the mandated mask policy established by Maricopa county. Fantastic friendly staff, great variety and constantly updated inventory! My favorite needle art shop in the state.
My daughter was vacationing from Indiana this past week and knows I love cross stitch. She found your store and enjoyed looking at all the beautiful things. She bought me three patterns and said the lady who took care of her was very nice. Thank you so much to being nice to my daughter and the wonderful service. Oh, and of course for my patterns!
Great selection of needlepoint and cross stitch floss and other supplies. Open stitching on Thursdays and Saturdays. You can tell a great store when there are a lot of regular customers who come just to hang out and stitch.
I am a stitcher and every time I go on vacation I always try and find a shop for me to visit so while visiting Scottsdale, AZ I found Oldtown Needlework. I was impressed with all the southwest patterns in crosstitch and needlepoint you had in your shop. I bought two desert scenes from your shop and can't wait to start them! You all were very nice to me when I came in and it was great meeting you all. Your shop is awesome!
