Services is good My In-laws love this place so we have been a couple times with them. When we go there are about 10 or more people in our party. They have been great about moving around tables and fitting us in. The food has been good probably a bit hit or miss depending on what you order. My kids have loved it. Wouldn't be a date night choice or anything like that where you'd want some ambiance but the diner atmosphere works for an inexpensive family outing.
Marginal Dinner I had flounder for dinner and I was not much impressed. The portion size was rather small, otherwise the fish was good. But I didn't finish the mixed vegetables. They were rather overcooked and what I thought was perhaps bits of stem from the green beans (who hasn't had that in the best of places) turned out to be dried up little corn nuggets! Still, I'm going to give this place another try and have breakfast. If they can't do breakfast at a diner, then they should pack it in.
About what you would expect Yeah -- it's a diner. Therefore -- diner food. I have been to this restaurant only once (my father's idea), and I wasn't impressed. The food seems processed, greasy, and overcooked. I swear the green beans I got were taken from the can and overcooked. The staff is really friendly, though, and the diner atmosphere is kind of fun. So, I guess it depends what you want -- good food, or good fun. Frankly, I would look for a place with both.
