Established in 1892 and surviving the Prohibition Era, the Old Town Bar is indeed old, and it is definitely a bar in the traditional sense (filled with lots of drinkers and smokers). However, it is also a restaurant with plenty of atmosphere and good bar food. The old booths, tin ceilings, frosted glass, beveled mirrors and mahogany bar all add to the charm. The menu features burgers, fries, sandwiches and salads.

old fashioned, really great bar. my favorite place to meet friends for a drink. in my opinion the best burger in town as well. let all the sucker tourists and bridge and tunnel folk pack into corner bistro. I'll take old town any day of the week.
Trendy need not apply – Great place for a burger and a brew. Those seeking the latest fusion of food and drink, please look elsewhere. This place is not for you. It is what it is, a dark, old, classy bar.
OLD TOWN=RUN DOWN – Old Town really is OLD. The bar food is ok for a bar. However, the service was bad because they would not let my group eat at the bar. You can probably save $1/drink by going here. Otherwise, leave the old and bring in the new.
Timeless... – This is the best old time bar in the city. Celebrity hangout. Don't go for the food....just the drinks.
Best burger in town – When I crave a burger, I head to Old Town. It's a bit old and worn inside, but that just adds to the character of the place. Besides the burger, the turkey reuben is delicious!
