My "go to" spot for when the grill get fired up! Good service from staff
Pay the same or a little more, get much better quality meat at Old Time Meat and Deli than at the usual grocers. Sausages without gristly bits, beef that tastes better and is more tender. Just quality stuff.
They have the best meat aunds down, and those beef house rolls... yum
I really don't buy meat from any store in Champaign except Old Time anymore. Old Time has everything and most of the cuts are cheaper than the grocery stores. They will cut anything to order, have the best selection around, and consistently have pretty much any cut you might need. I depend on their brisket and tritium for barbecue but hey also have like 10 kinds of chicken. They are all delicious but the Santa Cruz brings the heat (but not overpowering).
