We called and scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for some work that we wanted done in our basement.
We were scheduled to meet with the owner (Mark) on a Friday @ 0900. 1030 rolled around and Mark was a no show. I called the office and was told that the owner did not have his cell phone and they could not contact him and they had no idea what was going on and would call me back. They called me back a few minutes later and said that they were sending someone else out and they would arrive at my home in 15-20 minutes. About 10 minutes later she called and said that the other employee could not make it and would be at our house at 1200. 1200 comes and goes, so does 1300, 1400 and 1500….all the while I am calling the office and leaving messages on their machine. The employee finally showed up at 1520 as my wife (who took the day off to do this) had to leave and pick our kids up from school. She told him that if he wants to give us an estimate his last chance was to come back at 1545. I also then finally received a call back and was told that it was now MY FAULT HE COULD NOT GIVE AN ESTIMATE because he showed up and I told them my wife would be home all day and now she was leaving. Keep in mind they we supposed to be there almost 6 hours earlier.
The worker did show back up and took measurements and discussed the job with my wife for quite some time. He said that he would work up the estimate and email it to her. IT IS NOW FOUR DAYS LATER AND STILL NO ESTIMATE.
