I've been seeing Dr. Chevalier for 4 years now and am yet to have a bad experience here. They have cool and interesting frames in stock, and so everyone always compliments my glasses and asks where I got them. Everyone who works here is also super nice, especially Taylor who is a complete superstar!
As someone who gets nervous in medical settings, I really appreciated how patient and supportive the staff at Old South Optometry were. Everything was explained clearly, and all of my questions were answered during my appointment. I especially appreciated Taylor, who did my pre-exams. She was kind, knowledgeable, and made the experience stress-free.
Amazing place! The staff are extremely nice and made me feel comfortable and safe with my experience. I can always come back to get my glasses tightened with no problem :)
My sister had her eye appointment October 30th to get a new prescription and frames. She is covered by ODSP and was told they would call her once they had sent her voucher for new glasses through. This was sent November 6th with no phone call. It is now November 14th my sister had to call and all she got was a "sorry" we should have called you. Now she has to wait an additional two weeks for glasses and frames and had to pay for the remaining cost of glasses and frames. Very disappointing as a probably two week process has t... read more
Incredibly helpful staff, I didn't even buy my glasses from them and they fixed my broken handle for FREE. The place I bought them from didn't help me at all and pushed me to buy a new pair for hundreds of dollars just because one of the handles broke. I came to Old South Optometry and they were able to match a spare handle that they had PERFECTLY to my glasses without any charge for the service nor for the handle (which is better than what I had, because it has flexibility!)
