Old Shillelagh Great place to go on St. Patricks day. They have tents set up outside with a stage for the band to play. Alot of fun. When its not St. Patricks day the band plays upstairs. It becomes very crowded and smokey. Sometimes you have to wait a long time to even get upstairs. The band makes it fun. Its a great place with a large group of friends.
Best Bar in Detroit – Been a few times, always had a blast. Drink Prices are normal, bartenders are good, last time I went there I was on Military leave from San Diego, went with two friends to get rowdy after a Wings game and utilized their DD to drive us home. In case you're unaware of the service they provide, you throw them some money (can't remember how much we paid them, maybe $60-$80) to drive us in a van back to my friends house in Wayne/Westland while another person drove my truck behind our van. TONS OF FUN!! – This is a GREAT place to have lots of fun. Highly recommend the second floor on weekends but arrive earily, seating is limited and fills quickly!
Old shillelagh the best – One of the best pubs i've ever been in and who would have thought to look in greektown. the music on the weekends is fun and lively with people singing along. it's a great place to bring old friends as well as meet new ones. I've had people i didn't even know pour me a beer from their picher while i was waiting for a refill of my own.
