On 7/9/17, my husband and I had excellent dinners at the Old Oyster Factory. We started out with oysters on the half shell and each of us then selected a seafood medley; one fried and one broiled. Both were delicious. The service was excellent, pleasant, unhurried and very solicitous. Only one very tiny recommendation and that is that the mignonette sauce for the oysters character-istically has more shallots. We would recommend the Old Oyster Factory without hesitation!

Went for happy hour oysters and food. Food was amazing! Probably some of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had! Downside was our bartender, who wasn't attentive and took forever to ask us if we wanted more food. He finally came back to us around at 6:05 (after hh ended) when I asked for more shrimp tacos, he said hh was over and it wasn't on the regular menu. I asked if I could even pay more and he said there was nothing he could do... Really? Sounds fishy (pun intended). Happy hour food and price was 5 stars service was a 1.
Always delicious! Always friendly, fast service! The hushpuppies are my most favorite EVER!! This is ALWAYS a MUST on HHI!! You can't visit HHI without stopping by! Just a tip, make reservations on the weekends, or go at 4:45pm when they open, bc its ALWAYS crowded!!
Food was excellent. Especially the oysters rockerfellow and oysters savannah!
First time visitors. Was a little shaky checking in. Had a reservation, but didn't have our name when we got there. Put us on the list, but when they texted us, there was more confusion getting seated. HOWEVER, once we were seated we had excellent service from Petey. Plus the food was delicious! Highly recommend the oyster sampler. Also, the scallops are the best I have ever had (broiled platter). Highly recommended!
This is 1 of our favorite HHI restaurants. The service and food is superb. Their hush puppies are delish. We plan at least 1 meal there on our vacation.
Food was okay, but very over priced.. We did love the view and our waitress!
Maybe we built it up too much before actually visiting. Our appetizers of combination oysters were great. We should have just stuck with that. My dinner consisted of 4 tiny shrimp, 2 mediocre scallops, an oyster Rockefeller and an oyster Savannah which were both good, and 2 barely bite size pieces of salmon. To top it off there was a scoop of no flavor rice. My wife didn't even finish her dinner because it was equally pitiful and had zero seasoning to it.
